Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
- Prepare the mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, grated Parmesan or cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended. Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes to help it absorb the flavors and firm up slightly for easy shaping.
- Form the chips: Use a spoon to scoop small dollops of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each dollop gently into thin rounds; thinner rounds will bake up crispier.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 18 minutes. Watch the chips closely after 12 minutes to ensure they achieve a golden, crispy edge without burning.
